ashfield
i was the artist in residence at ashfield council, in sydney's inner west, during june/july 2007. it was brilliant. i wrote a blog, twittered, looked for good bakeries, took pictures and conducted free blog workshops with people in the library.
one of my workshop participants was 87 and she could remember ashfield when it was the middle of nowhere, and it had this wonderful town hall. they pulled it down to make way for a car park in the sixties.
