so i.j.oog earned the right to appear for ninety seconds at the 2008 melbourne writers festival by being judged to be one of the least worst poets at the fifth poetry idol heat at the st.kilda library in august 2008.
and he did. sadly, despite the fact that there were many better poets there even than oog himself, none of them won. although a good one did come third. onya kai.
